Join us at Utopia Theatre's Youth Academy, where we empower young individuals aged 9-19 through the art of African oral storytelling and performance. Our workshops, held in a nurturing environment, are designed to build creative and confident future leaders.

Programme Highlights:

Diverse Skills Development: From acting, music, dance, to public speaking and filmmaking.

Inclusivity and Support: Welcoming those excluded from school and providing upskilling opportunities.

Emotional and Social Growth: Fostering emotional intelligence, confidence, social skills, and engagement in community life.

Professional Guidance: Led by leading black professionals in various theatre arts including African dance, drumming, acting, and more.

Mentoring and Opportunities: Focus on supporting black and minority youths with mentorship from industry leaders.

⏰ Time: Thursdays, 6 - 8 PM

Schedule:
Juniors (9-13 years): 6-7 PM
Seniors (14-19 years): 7-8 PM

Monthly sessions with industry experts.

Who Can Join? Young people of African and African Caribbean Heritage, with no prior experience needed - just enthusiasm.
